TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 28, 2016) – The Florida Chamber of Commerce today announces its endorsement of Wengay Newton, Sr. for Florida House District 70.
“Wengay Newton, Sr. is a strong advocate for education efforts in our state,” said MARIAN JOHNSON, Senior Vice President of Political Operations for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “The Florida Chamber is proud to endorse him today for the Florida House.”
The Florida Chamber believes that to secure Florida’s future, Florida must elect candidates that put the long-term needs of our state ahead of short-term interests. As a pro-jobs, pro-business candidate, the Florida Chamber believes Newton will put Florida families and job creators in the driver’s seat by supporting private-sector job creation and economic growth.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Florida Chamber,” WENGAY NEWTON said. “I feel now is the time for good people to set up for our state’s future. I’m looking forward to working hard and securing the economic future of House District 70.”
