Florida Chamber Honors Innovators for Florida Manufacturing Month

Did you know, that for every 10 jobs created in Florida’s export-oriented manufacturing, 12 more jobs are created in transportation, warehousing and retail? Florida has more than 330,000 manufacturing employees earning more than $54,000 annually.

The impact of manufacturing on Florida’s global economy is significant.

That’s why the Florida Chamber supports our partners at the Manufacturing Association of Florida. And we’ve long supported permanently eliminating the sales tax on manufacturing equipment. We believe Florida’s manufacturers need a more permanent solution and will continue to champion eliminating this tax permanently.
