As one of the nation’s top business climates, the progress Florida has made on growing a globally competitive economy is helping lower the cost of living for families and the cost of doing business for job creators.
In another step forward on targeted tax reforms, Florida’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday is just around the corner. From August 2-6, Floridians can enjoy savings on tax-free eligible items like clothing, accessories, binders, printer paper and more, including:

  • Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item,
  • Certain school supplies selling for $15 or less per item, and
  • Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories selling for $1,000 or less per item, when purchased for noncommercial home or personal use.
