The Florida Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Representative Jay Trumbull has been named a Florida Chamber 2018 Distinguished Advocate for his commitment to championing pro-jobs, pro-business legislation.
“The Florida Chamber thanks Representative Jay Trumbull for working to lower the cost of living and the cost of doing business in Florida,” said David Hart, Executive Vice President of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “Representative Jay Trumbull sponsored Florida Chamber-backed legislation that will help lower the cost of property insurance on Florida homeowner, while also tackling reforms to abuses with Assignment of Benefits.”
The Florida Chamber’s Distinguished Advocate award recognizes lawmakers who fought tirelessly for the passage of pro-business legislation – no matter how difficult – and furthered the Florida Chamber’s goals of securing Florida’s future through job creation and economic development.
“Under the leadership of Governor Rick Scott and the Florida House, we are making our state and Bay County the world’s top business destination. Lower taxes and reduced regulation works. Our small businesses are succeeding, and our economy is stronger than ever before. An important partner in this effort has been the Florida Chamber of Commerce; they are an invaluable resource in recommending business-friendly policies that create jobs,” Representative Trumbull said.
