TECO Employees Support Home Improvement Efforts Across Tampa

Tampa Electric employees recently continued a long-standing tradition of community service by supporting Paint Your Heart Out Tampa, a program dedicated to improving homes for residents in need.

For the 14th consecutive year, members of the company’s Customer Experience team helped prepare and organize supplies used by volunteers working on home improvement projects throughout the community. More than 20 team members participated in this year’s effort, helping coordinate materials for over 80 projects benefiting low-income seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

By supporting the behind-the-scenes logistics that make these projects possible, Tampa Electric employees helped ensure volunteers had the resources needed to enhance homes and improve quality of life for residents across the Tampa area. The initiative reflects the company’s continued commitment to community engagement and service beyond its core business operations.
