More than 300 Girls Receive Luxury Purses Donated by Rita Case and Soles4Souls’ 4Relief Program
Girls from Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County’s teen centers and Overtown Youth Center’s Honey Shine mentoring program had fun shopping
More than 300 girls in Broward County and Miami had a unique shopping experience thanks to Rita Case, president, CEO and owner of Rick Case Automotive Group, and the Soles4Souls 4Relief program.
Girls from Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County’s teen centers and elementary, middle and high school “honey bugs” from Alonzo Mourning’s Overtown Youth Center’s all-girls mentoring program, Honey Shine, went shopping for a brand-new luxury purse, choosing from a wide assortment of styles. More than 300 luxury purses were distributed.
“The girls were so excited to have this chance to choose a new purse that reflects her personality,” said Case. “But it’s so much more than that. It’s also about choice, confidence and self-esteem. A purse not only adds the finishing, polished touch to an outfit, it’s also a tool for organization and mobility. The girls really enjoyed the experience.”
