International Policy Committee

The Florida Chamber is committed to connecting Florida’s business community to global opportunities and leveraging resources and investments to maintain and expand Florida’s position as an international trade leader. In order to meet the goal of doubling Florida-origin exports, Florida’s role in international trade must continue to strengthen. There are several ways to get involved with the Florida Chamber’s International efforts.

The International Policy Committee develops the Florida Chamber’s state and federal international policy positions and recommendations. This includes review of multilateral, regional and bilateral trade agreements, efforts to remove trade and supply chain barriers, changes to trade development programs, investments in trade and transportation infrastructure as well as other issues that impact Florida’s global competitiveness.

“It’s Florida’s time because we are in the right position, we have the right culture, we have the right infrastructure. So Florida, and Floridian companies, are really in a position to take advantage of the global economy in ways we didn’t have available before. “ LEE SANDLER, Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A.

The Florida Chamber recognizes the importance of trade advocacy and manufacturing efforts and has opened a South Florida office led by Alice Ancona, Director of Global Outreach.
