Florida Chamber of Commerce Congratulates Jimmy Patronis On Being Named Florida’s Chief Financial Officer

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 26, 2017) – The Florida Chamber of Commerce congratulates Jimmy Patronis on being named Florida’s Chief Financial Officer. Patronis is a Florida leader focused on making Florida more competitive, and he is dedicated to securing Florida’s future.

“Jimmy Patronis brings a wealth of experience to the position of Chief Financial Officer, and he will serve Floridians well. As a former member of the Florida House, former member of the Public Service Commission, and a small business owner of a successful family business, Jimmy Patronis understands the important role this Cabinet level position plays in helping make Florida more competitive,” said DAVID HART, Executive Vice President, Florida Chamber of Commerce.

During his public service as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Patronis was an advocate of pro-business, pro-jobs legislation and routinely scored perfect 100-A letter grades on the Florida Chamber’s Legislative Report Card. Patronis, and his family’s small business, Captain Anderson’s Restaurant, have been long-time members of the Florida Chamber.

The Florida Chamber looks forward to working with Jimmy Patronis in his new role as CFO. Additionally, the Florida Chamber thanks Jeff Atwater for his service to the state of Florida, his leadership while serving as Florida’s CFO, and we wish him well in his new endeavors.
