After The Storm: Hurricane Resources & Ways to Help Florida’s Communities

Hurricane Idalia made landfall last Wednesday morning as a powerful Category 3 storm, hitting near Keaton Beach in Florida’s Big Bend region. However, our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected. In the aftermath of a natural disaster, Florida’s business community always stands ready to support one another. Thank you to all our members who are on the front lines as well as those in communities not directly impacted who are helping other Florida communities when it is needed most.

Below is a link to resources to assist those who have been impacted by Hurricane Idalia as well as ways to help either by donating funds or volunteering at the communities in need.

The official Florida hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. Peak hurricane season runs from August through October, and historically most storm activity occurs during these months. As a business community, we are uniting to ensure we can get Floridians, Florida communities and businesses through this season and eventually back on their feet.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for being an active participant in promoting safety throughout Florida. We are here to support each other, and by sharing information and resources, we can get through this together. Please let us know how we can continue to help.
