Tampa Electric Supports 4-H Student, Honors Father’s Legacy

Tampa Electric recently supported 12-year-old 4-H student Aubrey Blommel by purchasing her steer at the Pasco County Fair Youth Beef Sale. The project was started with her late father, Andrew John Clayton ‘Clay’ Blommel, who passed away in November 2025. Determined to complete the work they began together, Aubrey presented her steer at the youth beef show. The meat from the sale will be donated to the Mango Elementary School food pantry, providing roughly 1,000 meals for families in need.
