Publix and Healthy Family Project Team Up to Fight Hunger Across the Southeast

Publix Super Markets partnered with Healthy Family Project and 20 produce companies for the 2026 Produce for Kids campaign, an initiative expected to help provide more than 1 million meals to families facing food insecurity across the Southeast. The campaign is the largest in the program’s history and supports dozens of food banks throughout Publix’s operating region.

Through in-store promotions and produce partner participation, the campaign connects healthy eating with hunger relief efforts, encouraging shoppers to support families in need while purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables. The initiative benefits Feeding America partner food banks serving communities across Florida and other Southeastern states.

Since its launch in 2002, the Produce for Kids campaign has generated millions of dollars for organizations serving children and families while helping provide millions of meals through local food banks. The continued collaboration among Publix, produce suppliers, and community partners demonstrates how everyday grocery purchases can contribute to meaningful support for neighbors experiencing hunger.
