The Financial Impact Estimating Conference (FIEC) will be meeting on Monday, August 12, 2019, at 3:30 p.m. to consider two Orders issued by the Supreme Court regarding the following petition initiatives:

  • Raising Florida’s Minimum Wage (18-01)
  • Right to Competitive Energy Market for Customers of Investor-Owned Utilities; Allowing Energy Choice (18-10)

For both cases, the Court has authorized the FIEC to submit amended financial impact statements that address the provisions of chapter 2019-64, Laws of Florida. If the FIEC submits amended statements, a maximum possible timeframe for doing so is specified in each Order.

The meeting will be held in Room 117, Knott Building, 415 W. St. Augustine Street, Tallahassee, Florida. Once begun, it will continue until completion of the agenda.
