We sat down with Elizabeth Waring, CEO, Busy Bee, to ask four important questions:

Q: What does your business do?
A: Convenience stores, travel center and quick serve restaurant operator.

Q: What is one thing Floridians may not know about your industry?
A: Many operators in our industry are generational family businesses like ours! The fourth generation in our family is coming to work full time this December after graduating from college!

Q: What is one opportunity and one challenge your industry is facing?
A: Alternative-Fuels and the future of fossil fuels in the marketplace. We are fuel agnostic! In other words, it doesn’t matter to us if we sell unleaded, premium, diesel, E15, E85, Electric, Hydrogen, or CNG. We just want the opportunity to provide our guests with the products they need to fuel their vehicles and themselves!

Q: What is one way we can unite to help grow your industry in Florida?
A: We are advocates of small Florida local businesses and giving them an opportunity to sell their products within our locations. Buzz by Busy Bee and support small businesses from Florida!
