Florida Association of Chamber Professionals Recognizes the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce as Chamber of the Year

The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) recognized Florida’s top chambers of commerce throughout the state for their outstanding achievement and dedication to the industry. The awards were presented at the organization’s Annual Conference, held December 6-8, 2022, at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Ocala.

Annually, FACP recognizes up to three chambers of commerce within Florida that have excelled in a variety of areas, including:  financial stability, membership recruitment and retention; governmental relations; strategic planning; technology; communications; special events; innovation and accomplishments over the past three years. The application process is very detailed and requires a true commitment from those who choose to apply.

This year, FACP recognized the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce in the annual budget category of less than $500,000.

FACP also recognized the Manatee Chamber of Commerce in the category of chambers of commerce with an annual budget of over $1 Million and the Bay County Chamber in the category of chambers of commerce with an annual budget of between $500,000 – $1 Million.

“These chambers have much to be proud of and have demonstrated a high caliber of service to their community and the members that they represent,” noted Tammy C. Bracewell, President of FACP. “Their list of accomplishments was exceptional and demonstrated excellence in all areas of chamber operations,” she added.

“Our successes over the last year are entirely attributable to the enthusiastic support of our members which has translated into record growth and innovative new events and programs,” said Patty Archer, President, Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Now and in the future, the Chamber is energized about the opportunity to bring innovation and progress to our communities by being a catalyst for business growth, a convener of leaders to implement positive change, and a champion for strong communities.”
