CSX Transportation Partners with Feeding Northeast Florida for “Warehouse Jams” Silent Disco Volunteer Event

CSX Transportation partnered with Feeding Northeast Florida to support a creative volunteer initiative in Jacksonville that blended community service with a silent disco experience as part of the organization’s “Warehouse Jams” series.

Hosted at Feeding Northeast Florida’s warehouse on Old Kings Road, the event brought together volunteers to assist with sorting and packing food for families experiencing food insecurity across the region. While contributing to hunger relief efforts, participants also wore wireless headphones and listened to music curated across multiple decades, creating a high-energy, interactive volunteer environment.

CSX Transportation’s partnership helped support the organization’s ongoing mission to expand community engagement and strengthen food distribution efforts throughout Northeast Florida. The collaboration highlighted the company’s commitment to investing in local communities and supporting initiatives that address critical needs such as food access.

In addition to volunteer activities, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Feeding Northeast Florida’s operations and the broader impact of its programs, which rely heavily on community partnerships and volunteer support to serve thousands of households each month.

The event demonstrated how corporate partnerships like CSX Transportation can help elevate nonprofit initiatives by combining resources, visibility, and employee engagement to make a tangible difference in the community.
