Federal opportunities for Florida’s infrastructure to grow was the topic of discussion on the latest edition of the Florida Chamber’s Bottom Line public affairs program. Ananth Prasad, Chair of the Florida Chamber Infrastructure Coalition and President-designate of the Florida Transportation Builders Association, shares how Florida is the blueprint for infrastructure initiatives at the national level.

“We are really excited about President Trump’s infrastructure plan and the possibilities of it. The fundamentals of it are based off of what Florida has been doing for many years,” PRASAD said. “Look at I-4, I-595 or the Port Miami Tunnel. Take the local, federal and state investments, and try to go through a public-private partnership and leverage private-sector equity into huge infrastructure projects.”
