Florida Public Utilities Supports Customers and Seniors Through Customer Care Days
Florida Public Utilities recently hosted Customer Care Days in Marianna, giving residents the opportunity to receive in-person assistance with their utility accounts while connecting them with valuable community resources.
Held over two days at the UF-IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center, the event brought together local partners to support community preparedness ahead of hurricane season. In partnership with the Florida Council on Aging, emergency meal kits were distributed to senior citizens ages 60 and older, helping ensure vulnerable residents have access to shelf-stable food supplies during severe weather events.
The initiative combined customer service with disaster readiness efforts, providing practical support and information to residents while reinforcing the importance of planning ahead for storm season. Through events like Customer Care Days, Florida Public Utilities continues to invest in the well-being and resilience of the communities it serves.
