In today’s digital age, even seemingly harmless URLs can lead to unexpected destinations, and the recent example of the link you shared — one that begins with a tracking redirect domain like rs6.net — underscores this fact. Marketing platforms often use such redirect services to track clicks and measure engagement. However, because these redirects mask the final destination, they can sometimes be exploited for malicious purposes, including phishing or unwanted redirects. This doesn’t mean every redirect is malicious, but it does highlight the importance of transparency, link-verification, and user awareness when clicking links that are long, obfuscated, or unfamiliar.
