Polk State College Opens Preferred Registration List for Upcoming Welding Program

Polk State College has announced the opening of a preferred registration list for its much-anticipated Welding Program, expected to launch in 2026. Due to overwhelming interest, individuals who join the list will receive 72 hours of advance notice before official registration begins. The program is designed to provide hands-on training with advanced technology, preparing students for certifications and high-demand careers.

By combining state funding, industry-driven training, and a proven track record in technical education, Polk State College’s Welding Program is set to equip students with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in high-wage, in-demand fields. The initiative emphasizes the College’s ongoing mission to deliver innovative workforce solutions for Polk County and beyond.
