Florida SBDC Network to Host Florida Small Business Day at the Capitol

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, will host its annual Florida Small Business Day at the Capitol event Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

The purpose of the event is to celebrate and highlight the important role small businesses play in Florida’s economy.

During the event, Florida SBDC Network small business clients and resource partners will showcase products and services. The network will also provide tours of its mobile assistance center, which is deployed into communities following disasters to help small businesses recover. The event will also feature special addresses.

“We are excited to host our second annual Small Business Day at the Capitol,” said Greg Britton, state director of the Florida SBDC Network. “Small businesses are vital to our state. They play a significant role in our economy and make our communities unique. We hope business owners, lawmakers, partners, and the public will join us for this important day to celebrate and highlight our state’s small businesses and learn about resources available to help them achieve their business goals.”

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Florida Capitol Courtyard.
