The Florida Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Senate President Bill Galvano as a 2019 Distinguished Advocate for his work during the 2019 Legislative Session.

The Florida Chamber’s Distinguished Advocate award recognizes lawmakers who fought tirelessly for the passage of pro-business legislation – no matter how difficult – and advocated for the Florida Chamber’s goals of securing Florida’s future and commitment to Florida’s business community through job creation, economic development and free enterprise.

“President Galvano’s leadership in passing bipartisan legislation that makes long-term infrastructure investments will help prepare for the millions of more residents and drivers that will soon call Florida home,” said Mark Wilson, President and CEO of the Florida Chamber.

This award is designed to honor legislators who prioritize the priority business community’s legislative goals.

“I am proud of this recognition from my friends at the Florida Chamber,” said Galvano. “Improving our infrastructure is of vital importance as Florida prepares to welcome 4.5 million more residents by 2030. I look forward to continuing to work with the Florida Chamber on this, and many other issues, that will continue to help grow Florida’s economy and make Florida more competitive.”

The Florida Chamber of Commerce thanks President Galvano for his work during the Legislative Session.
