Florida Chamber CEO Mark Wilson to Demonstrate the Future with Northwest Florida Business and Community Leaders at Niceville Valparaiso Chamber Event 

Business leaders from across Northwest Florida will gain essential insights into the future of our state and regional economy when the Niceville Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce hosts Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, for a Florida Business Update on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The event will take place at Crosspoint Niceville, 214 South Partin Drive. 

Wilson, who leads Florida’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization, will provide an update on Okaloosa County business growth, legislative impartations, and economic metrics from TheFloridaScorecard.org. His remarks will include a forward-looking analysis of Northwest Florida’s economic opportunities, workforce development needs, and infrastructure investments essential to long-term prosperity and competitiveness. 

“Florida is experiencing historic growth, and communities like Niceville and Valparaiso are clearly leading the way in talent, innovation, and quality of life,” Wilson said. “Our job at the Florida Chamber is to unite the business community around solutions that keep Florida competitive, create high-wage jobs, and build a stronger economy that works for every family and every business. Wilson added, “According to TheFloridaScorecard.org, Florida is projected to grow by more than 800 people per day through 2030, which creates both opportunities and challenges for regions like Okaloosa County. From ensuring we have the right talent pipeline to meeting infrastructure demands, the choices we make today will determine whether Florida continues to lead the hemisphere in competitiveness.” 

Named Floridian of the Year by Florida Trend in 2023, Wilson has been recognized as a leading voice for Florida’s business community.
