Did You Know Every 85 Visitors Create One Florida Job?

Florida is on track to surpass 100 million visitors by the end of the year. Since every 85 Florida visitors creates one job in hospitality and an additional job in a related sector such as retail, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, transportation, tourism continues to be a key driver in Florida’s economy.

It was announced today at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism that by 2020, the number of visitors and dollars spent is expected to increase by more than 20 percent for an overall economic impact of $100 billion to the state’s economy. By continuing to support and grow Florida’s tourism industry, we can expand international opportunities and showcase the Sunshine State as an ideal location to live, work, play and create new business.
