Small Business Council Spotlight: FAIRWINDS

Jorge Font

Senior Vice President, Business Services

What is FAIRWINDS Credit Union?

FAIRWINDS is the financial institution that is here to change our members’ lives on the journey to Financial Freedom. We’ve been serving personal and commercial members for almost 75 years. Headquartered in Orlando, FL, close to 600 employees serve over 200,000 members around-the-clock with innovative and secure solutions for personal and commercial deposits and loans, retirement planning, money management, payments, and more.

How does FAIRWINDS help businesses throughout Florida?

We are one of the largest credit unions serving commercial and small businesses in the country. Business owners turn to FAIRWINDS to help them grow, thrive, and take their business to the next level.

In addition to commercial real estate lending, treasury services, merchant services, and deposit solutions, FAIRWINDS offers a unique resource to help every business member achieve financial freedom: the FAIRWINDS Business Money Milestones. Tailored around key goals and accomplishments throughout the business life cycle, business members and their employees can be prepared and feel secure with resources to help them set a course toward becoming a debt-free business.

Tell us why you joined the Florida Chamber (and/or Small Business Council) and what you would say to other business leaders about the benefit and value of this council?

FAIRWINDS is a Florida Chamber Foundation Trustee partner and has been a long-time supporting member. Working with fellow business leaders, we can make a direct impact and contribution toward the economic development and prosperity of rapidly growing communities throughout Florida.
