Investing in Florida’s Talent Pipeline
Florida’s ability to compete and grow depends on a skilled workforce. CareerSource Florida was a proud partner of the Florida Chamber Foundation’s Florida Learners to Earners Workforce Solution Summit this month—where business leaders, workforce professionals, and policymakers explored solutions to strengthen Florida’s talent pipeline.

With new funding starting July 1, Florida businesses will once again have access to apply for funding through CareerSource Florida’s premier workforce training grants. These grants provide essential resources to help businesses recruit, train, and retain top talent in Florida’s competitive job market.
Quick Response Training (QRT):
- Assists expanding and relocating businesses in Florida.
- Funds customized, employer-driven training for new hires in high-demand fields.
- Strengthens Florida’s talent pipeline by ensuring workers have the skills businesses need.
Incumbent Worker Training (IWT):
- Helps businesses upskill their existing workforce to remain competitive.
- Covers a percentage of training costs, reducing financial barriers for employers.
- Increases employee retention and productivity by investing in workforce development.
