Florida 2030 research shows that Americans are working in different ways, at more places and in varied kinds of jobs.
Florida 2030 research estimates that by 2030, formal employment at a single establishment is increasingly expected to shift to multiple, on-demand work opportunities in what’s known as a “gig economy”. In fact, it’s projected that by 2025, 9.2 million jobs will make up the “gig economy” nationwide.
