CITY Furniture Raises Over $690,000 for American Heart Association

Family-owned retailer CITY Furniture announced that it raised $691,987 this year for the American Heart Association, surpassing its initial pledge of $650,000 under the company’s “5% Giving Pledge.” The campaign engaged associates and customers across Florida through initiatives like the “Test & Rest” mattress-showroom promotion and community events including CPR training and the “Heart Dash” with the Florida Panthers. By distributing blood-pressure monitors, infant CPR kits, and wellness resources to thousands of individuals and supporting heart-health education in underserved areas, CITY Furniture underscored its commitment to fighting cardiovascular disease and promoting healthier communities across the state.
