Autonomous Florida Webinar: May 23, 2019

Florida Chamber’s Autonomous Florida Webinar
May 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

The 2019 Florida Legislative Session has ended, and for Florida’s self-driving community, it was one for the books. Florida Politics called Autonomous Florida one of the winners of the session, writing:

” 2019 saw the Legislature pass a bill making Florida quite possibly the most autonomous vehicle (AV)-friendly state in the union. HB 311 opens the door for automated ride-sharing platforms and gives the Florida Turnpike Enterprise the green light to fund and operate AV test facilities. And, the Florida Chamber’s Autonomous Florida program was instrumental in helping get that framework into statute.”

Register today for the next Florida Chamber of Commerce Autonomous Florida webinar which will feature a look back at the 2019 Florida Legislative Session, including a detailed explanation of HB 311, as well as an in-depth discussion about the 5G and infrastructure package.

Syd Kitson, Chair of the Florida Chamber’s Autonomous Florida, Immediate Past Chair, Florida Chamber Board of Directors and Chairman & CEO of Kitson & Partners, will lead a discussion on these important developments.
