Philip Morris International’s U.S. operations are expanding in the Tampa Bay region with the launch of a new Business Solutions Center in Tampa, Florida. The company is investing about $50 million to establish the center, which will bring approximately 180 new high-skill jobs to the area and support a range of functions previously spread across multiple sites.
The new hub will bring together teams in business solutions, distribution operations, and customer service, helping PMI U.S. streamline its operations and strengthen its presence in the U.S. market. Career opportunities at the center are expected to span fields such as finance, data analytics, information technology, project management, talent acquisition, and more.
Company leaders highlighted Florida’s strong business environment and workforce as key reasons for selecting Tampa Bay for this investment. The center is part of PMI U.S.’s long-term commitment to growing its U.S. footprint and supporting local economies.
The investment includes build-out costs for the new workspace and a long-term lease at Highwoods Bay Center in the Westshore business district. Since 2022, PMI U.S. has invested over $1 billion in American operations, including manufacturing, workforce development, and other strategic initiatives.
