Jacksonville’s Top Leaders Honored At Annual First Coast Business Hall of Fame

Jacksonville, November 2022  –  The Florida Council on Economic Education (FCEE) inducted five local business professionals who are “Growing a Better Tomorrow” into its 23rd annual First Coast Business Hall of Fame awards ceremony on November 2, 2022. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.

Event & Selection Committee Chair, Darnell Smith of Florida Blue, welcomed the class of 2022: HENRY BROWN of Miller Electric Company, RAY DRIVER JR. of Driver, McAfee, Hawthorne & Diebenow, PLLC, ERIC MANN of YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, JEANNE MILLER of The Jacksonville Civic Council and LISA PALMER of Regency Center.

Nearly 400 guests gathered to welcome the distinguished class joining the list of over 90 of Jacksonville’s top business leaders inducted since 1999. Every honoree is a role model for thousands of K-12 students learning to apply free enterprise, entrepreneurship and personal finance skills to everyday life.

Suzanne Costanza, FCEE Executive Director said “We are proud to honor the leadership and accomplishments of the Class of 2022 and all First Coast Business Hall of Fame members at our annual event. By investing in the economic and financial know how of our children, the First Coast business community has had a tremendous influence in developing the informed and responsible leaders of tomorrow.”

With the help of Presenting Sponsors, Drummond Press, Florida Blue and Raymond James, as well as many other sponsors and guests, this event set a new record, raising more than $200,000. Proceeds will aid in support the mission of the FCEE to prepare Florida’s young people for personal and financial success through educational programs in economics, the free enterprise system and personal financial literacy so that they become productive members of the workforce, responsible consumers and wise investors.
