
Dr. Devin Stephenson, president of Florida Polytechnic University, has been named one of Florida Trend magazine’s Florida 500 most influential business leaders for the second year in a row, recognizing his leadership in advancing innovation, education, and economic development across the state. Under his guidance, Florida Poly has seen record-breaking enrollment for two consecutive years, national recognition for academic excellence, and continued expansion of its state-of-the-art campus. Recent milestones include the upcoming openings of the Gary C. Wendt Engineering Building and the Public Safety and Campus Operations Center, as well as progress on the $85 million Student Achievement Center. Florida Poly has maintained its ranking as the No. 1 public college in the South for five years and one of the nation’s top 30 public engineering programs without a Ph.D. Stephenson credited the university’s success to the dedication of its faculty, staff, and students, emphasizing that each new achievement strengthens Florida Poly’s role in shaping the state’s high-tech future.
