Florida Adds Nearly 17,000 Jobs in June, Continues to Outpace Nation

On July 20, Governor Rick Scott announced the latest job numbers for the month of June. Florida businesses created 16,900 private-sector jobs while the annual job growth rate of 2.3 percent continues to exceed the national rate of 1.9 percent. Florida has outpaced the nation for 74 of the past 75 months.
