What does your business do?
We are a municipally-owned (City of Clearwater) Natural & Propane Local Distribution Company that serves nearly 30,000 customers in 20 cities & the unincorporated areas of Northern & Central Pinellas County, Western & Central Pasco County & Northwestern Hillsborough County. We are a full-service provider, offering “one-stop” commercial & residential installation, appliance sales, and service & repair services for our customers. We are the 34th largest of over 1,000 publicly-owned gas systems in America & we believe that we are the fastest growing gas system in America — growing by 7-8% annually.
What’s your biggest concern as a small business owner/operator?
Keeping up with the growth & finding & retaining the skilled employees to handle this. Also, we have recently been experiencing supply chain issues for pipes, fittings & appliances.
