This state-of-the-art facility will support engineering and advanced technology work for Boeing Defense, Space & Security Air Dominance programs and is anticipated to bring as many as 400 high-paying jobs to the Volusia County area.
The Engineering Center will foster collaboration between Boeing and Embry-Riddle, providing access to a talented pipeline of students and researchers.
This partnership is designed to drive aerospace innovation and ensure that education and industry work hand-in-hand.
In addition to job creation, Boeing is investing $100,000 to support new STEM programming for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler counties and to provide food assistance for students in need through the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
Boeing employs more than 3,400 people in Florida, who support both defense and commercial customers in the areas of space, aircraft modifications and sustainment, and commercial aviation services with the largest concentrations in Kennedy Space Center, Fort Walton Beach, Jacksonville and Miami.
