Rita Case Donates $2 Million to Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital to Advance Research, Education, and Innovation

Rita Case, president and CEO of Rick Case Automotive Group, has made a transformative $2 million donation to Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, reinforcing her long-standing commitment to advancing healthcare and community well-being in South Florida. The generous gift will support research, education, patient care, and key capital initiatives, furthering the hospital’s mission to deliver world-class care. In recognition, Cleveland Clinic unveiled the newly named Rita and Rick Case Corridor, a central hub within its multispecialty and ambulatory surgery clinic that welcomes patients, visitors, and caregivers alike. Case was joined at the dedication by hospital and community leaders, including Cleveland Clinic Florida President Dr. Conor Delaney and Weston Mayor Peggy Brown, who praised her vision and philanthropy.

This latest contribution brings the Case family’s total giving to more than $3.1 million since 2016, including prior gifts that funded the hospital’s Rick Case Automotive Group Cafeteria, a gathering place for patients, families, and staff. Beyond philanthropy, the Case family has consistently supported hospital operations during crises, such as opening dealership fuel stations exclusively for medical staff during hurricanes. As a member of the hospital’s board of directors, Rita Case continues to play an active leadership role in shaping the future of healthcare in Broward County. Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital—recently ranked No. 1 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale by U.S. News & World Report and recognized among Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2025—celebrated the gift as a meaningful investment in innovation and community health.
