Dana Jones currently serves as the President of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Director of the Development Authority and the Tourist Development Council Coordinator. During her career with the Chamber she has served as the Executive Vice President, the Vice President of Tourism, Vice President of Membership Services, Director of Community Affairs, and Area Council Coordinator.
During her tenure as President, the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce attained 5-Star Accreditation status by the U.S. Chamber, was twice selected as the #1 Chamber of Commerce in America for Chambers our size and has been designated a “Certified Plus” Chamber by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.
She is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management (University of Georgia & the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) and Economic Development Institute (University of Oklahoma).
She has represented Putnam County regionally by her participation on the Board of First Coast Technical College, Jax/USA Partner, Enterprise FL Stakeholder, VISIT FLORIDA Nature-Based Committee, Superior Small Lodgings – Board Member; and the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee, Jacksonville Super Bowl Special Events and Hospitality Committees.
