Respiratory Protection Webinar May 6, 2020 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Course Description:

This five-hour webinar covers the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of a respiratory protection program. Course topics include terminology, OSHA Respiratory Protection Standards, NIOSH classifications, respiratory protection programs, and medical evaluation requirements. Program highlights include work assessment on respirator selection, qualitative and quantitative fit testing, and the use of respiratory protection and support equipment. Upon course completion students will have the ability to identify and describe the elements of a respiratory protection program, the proper selection, use, and inspection of respiratory protection. Students will be able to identify respiratory hazards, select the proper Personal Protective Equipment necessary to mitigate such hazards.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for any employee that has the potential to be exposed to any airborne hazards at the workplace.  Supervisors, Managers, Foreman, and anyone in leadership positions should attend.

 

CEUs:

Participants will receive a course completion certificate upon successfully completing the course.  Participants will earn .45 CEUs from the Florida Chamber Safety Council.
