Did You Know Florida Is Expected to Create 200,000 Jobs in 2016?

The new year is upon us and 2016 looks to be another banner year for Florida’s economy and job growth. Consider the following:

At the Florida Chamber Foundation’s CFO Roundtable last month, Chief Economist Dr. Jerry Parrish forecasted that Florida will create 200,000 jobs in 2016. In addition to the encouraging news from the job growth forecast, Florida is poised to gain 300,000 more residents. With 2 million jobs needed and 6 million more residents expected by 2030, Florida is well on track for a prosperous future. What is your community doing to improve job opportunities and prepare for population growth?
