The Florida Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Insurance Summit from December 3-5, 2024, at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. Bringing together a distinguished lineup of industry leaders, lawmakers, regulators, and insurance professionals, this year’s Summit comes at a pivotal time for Florida’s insurance landscape, which is a $9 trillion marketplace. With nearly two years since the passage of important homeowners’ insurance reform legislation and following three recent hurricanes, the Summit provides a timely platform for essential discussions on the current and future state of Florida’s insurance market.
“With Florida’s evolving insurance needs and recent legislative reforms, this Summit offers an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas and solutions that will shape the future of Florida’s property, auto, and liability insurance markets,” said Mark Wilson, President and CEO, Florida Chamber of Commerce. “By bringing together the brightest minds in the industry, we can collaboratively address the challenges impacting families, local businesses, and our economy.”
Florida Insurance Commissioner Michael Yaworsky emphasized the importance of collaboration in tackling the state’s insurance challenges: “The Florida Chamber Annual Insurance Summit brings together all the stakeholders to discuss strategies and practical solutions that address Florida’s unique insurance risks and opportunities. Florida’s insurance market is complex, and annually this Summit tackles the biggest challenges to ensure the market is competitive and healthy for all Floridians.”
