As Women’s History Month comes to a close, the Florida Chamber of Commerce celebrates Taylore Maxey, Director of Media and Public Relations, for being named to the Tallahassee Democrat’s 20th annual “25 Women You Need to Know” list, recognizing her leadership and contributions to the community. This milestone year marks two decades of the annual recognition, which honors local women leaders from public service, business, and community organizations. To date, a total of 560 women have been recognized since the program’s inception in 2006.

“Taylore exemplifies the dedication, professionalism, and community spirit that make Tallahassee stronger every day,” said Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “Her work in media and public relations has amplified the Florida Chamber’s mission and impact, and we couldn’t be more grateful to see her recognized for this well-deserved honor.”

“Taylore’s commitment to advancing community initiatives and storytelling inspires all of us at the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Foundation,” said Polly Morgan, Vice President of Marketing and Communications of the Florida Chamber Foundation. “She leads with purpose, creativity, and integrity, and this recognition is a testament to her impact in both our organization and the broader community in Tallahassee.”

Maxey, who manages media strategy and public relations for Florida’s leading business advocacy organization, joins a distinguished group of Tallahassee leaders whose work has strengthened the community.
