Thanks to your strong support, the Florida Senate today passed the Florida Chamber-backed bill stopping the abusive Assignment of Benefits (AOB) practices that are harming the very consumers that work in the jobs that keep our economy thriving.
With today’s Senate passage, AOB reform has fully passed the Florida Legislature and will now travel to Governor Ron DeSantis. This is good news, particularly for Governor DeSantis who said during his state-of-the-state speech:
“I hope the Legislature passes legislation to reform the issue of AOB, which has become a racket,” said Governor Ron DeSantis.
