Florida is now 8th in the country for total amounts of Venture Capital deployed in 2020. Although we have improved significantly year-over-year for Q1 2021, we ranked only 10th throughout the U.S. (PwC/CB Insights MoneyTree™ Report Data Q1 2021). As the competition for promising technology startups sharpens, Florida has significant work left to do to catch up with other highly competitive states such as California, Massachusetts, and New York.
