Kevin Bowyer is a partner in Warren Averett’s audit division. He joined the firm in 1990, following his college graduation. Kevin is experienced in planning, supervising and conducting audits of governmental and not-for-profit entities and he has extensive knowledge in small business consulting, business valuations, and tax planning and compliance services for condominium and homeowners’ associations as well as other small businesses. He is also a member of the FICPA’s Section on Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA) and Past Treasurer and Board Member of the Community Association Institute, North Gulf Coast Chapter.
Kevin is a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and also received his Certified Information Systems AuditorTM (CISA®) certification in 2007 which demonstrates skill, judgment and proficiency in IT audit, security and controls. Kevin leads Warren Averett O’Sullivan Creel’s Information Systems Enhancement (ICE) niche by assessing a client’s internal control structures for risks and vulnerabilities in order to prevent losses before they occur and mitigate risks.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of West Florida in 1990.

Kevin is involved in the Destin community, most recently serving as president of the Destin Chamber. In his spare time, you’ll find him on the golf course or doing “dad things” in the area.
