Carlos is vice president of MWH, an engineering company dedicated to water infrastructure and water resources projects throughout the world.  He is a licensed engineer and architect, born and raised in Argentina, who moved to Florida 32 years ago with his wife, Cristina.  They have two children, ages 27 and 30, both living in New York City.

Carlos’ career has been dedicated to the management of construction and engineering companies, participating in large infrastructure projects and programs.  His emphasis has been in construction and consulting services for public works programs in excess of $1 billion.  Carlos had the good fortune to participate in iconic projects such as the Miami Metro Mover, the Miami International Airport Intermodal Center, multiple highway projects in south Florida and the Port of Miami Tunnel.

Besides his professional activates, Carlos’ interest include education and mentoring.  He has been an active member of the Advisory Council for Engineering at Florida International University since 2003.  Additionally, for more than ten years, he has led groups of high school students of Miami’s Belen Jesuit School to the Dominican Republic, providing assistance to small communities in need.  Through the years, these missions have built aqueducts, churches and concrete bridges up to 150’ long.

Carlos has earned bachelor degrees in Architecture and Engineering, a master degree in Engineering Management and a doctorate in Business Administration.
