Prior to the beginning of Special Session A, Florida Chamber President Mark Wilson penned a letter to legislative leaders outlining business priorities, and supporting investments in Enterprise Florida, Inc., and VISIT FLORIDA.

HB 1A, legislation sponsored by Rep. Paul Renner (R-Palm Coast) and passed by the legislature during the special session, provided full funding of $76 million to VISIT FLORIDA to market Florida’s world-class tourism industry and the jobs it supports, and allocated $85 million to the new Florida Job Growth Fund for targeted investments in talent pipeline development and infrastructure.
