Florida Chamber of Commerce Endorses Rebecca Smith for Florida House

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 28, 2016) – The Florida Chamber of Commerce today announces its endorsement of Rebecca Smith for Florida House District 60.

“Rebecca Smith is a small business owner who understands the need for free enterprise principles in our state,” said MARIAN JOHNSON, Senior Vice President of Political Operations for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to seeing her hard work and dedication translated to the Florida House. The Florida Chamber is proud to endorse Rebecca Smith for the Florida House.”

The Florida Chamber believes that to secure Florida’s future, Florida must elect candidates that put the long-term needs of our state ahead of short-term interests. As a pro-jobs, pro-business candidate, the Florida Chamber believes Smith will put Florida families and job creators in the driver’s seat by supporting private-sector job creation and economic growth.

“I am honored to receive the support and endorsement of the Florida Chamber of Commerce.  The Florida Chamber serves as a leading voice on the issues facing our state.  I am grateful for the Chamber’s strong leadership on issues which will secure Florida’s future and provide Florida’s families opportunities to achieve their fullest potential.  I am humbled by today’s announcement and look forward to working with the Florida Chamber on policies that will make our community’s future even brighter,” said REBECCA SMITH.
