Rob Stewart
Rob Stewart, a native of Ruston, La., joined State Farm in 1989 as a personal lines fire underwriter in the Mid-South Regional Office. He was promoted to commercial fire supervisor in 1991.
Rob moved to Birmingham, Ala., in 1993 to help start the Alabama/Mississippi region and became a personal lines underwriting operations supervisor later that year. In 1996, he became a State Farm agent in Fort Payne, Ala..
Rob moved to Mobile, Ala. in 1998 to become an AFC; two years later, he was promoted to AFE in the same location. He moved to Bloomington in 2004 as assistant vice president of health product management and was appointed executive assistant to the Chairman’s Council in 2005. He was named VPA in the Central Zone in 2006, where he was responsible for the Louisiana market area. Rob assumed his current position as AVP for the Mid-America zone in January 2010.
Rob is a 1989 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in finance. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling and spending time with his two daughters, Audrey and Molly.
