Mike Mitchell
Michael Mitchell is the director of government relations for Publix Super Markets. Mitchell will assume the lobbying and governmental affairs duties for the grocery chain.
Mitchell has a long resume of public and governmental affairs, ranging from U.S. Senate staff member to corporate consultant and lobbyist specializing in local, state and federal business issues.
He most recently has been southeastern director of government relations for UST Public Affairs in Atlanta.
Mitchell also has served as executive assistant to the late U.S. Sen. Paul D. Coverdell, a Georgia Republican.
He and his wife Jill live in Lakeland with their three children. Mitchell is a youth soccer coach and has coached teams with two of his children as members.
