Matthew P. Halme Esq.
Matthew P. Halme is Vice President – Government Affairs and Corporate Counsel for OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC. He is responsible for monitoring and lobbying issues which affect OSI at the state and federal levels and also handles regulatory issues. His duties also include managing the OSI Political Action Committee which contributed over $2 million in the 2006 cycle, and managing litigation. OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC, operates over 1,400 restaurants in all 50 states and in 21 countries. Their restaurants include: Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Roy’s, Bonefish Grill, Lee Roy Selmon’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Blue Coral Seafood and Spirits.
Mr. Halme earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his law degree from The Santa Barbara College of Law. He resides in Tampa, Florida and is married to the former Tracy Matheson, a physician at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa. The Halmes have two sons, Ian and Morgan and a daughter, Campbell.
