Dave Hammer
Dave Hammer serves as Chief Administrative Officer for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Hammer is responsible for human resources for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment’s 20,000 employees as well as communications, government affairs and procurement.
Hammer began his career in 1978 as a food service attendant at Busch Gardens Tampa. He held various positions in Operations and Merchandise before joining Human Resources in 1987. He has held various supervisory positions in Human Resources and was part of the Anheuser-Busch team that acquired SeaWorld in 1989. After holding the top Human Resources positions at Sesame Place and Kingsmill Resort, Hammer rejoined Anheuser-Busch as Corporate Manager, Human Resources in 1999. In August 2001 Hammer was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources for SeaWorld Orlando. In August 2004 Hammer was promoted to Executive Vice President Human Resources for Busch Entertainment.
Hammer grew up in Tampa and graduated with a B.S. in Human Resources from St. Leo College.
